Who doesn’t love cauliflower? Did you know that researchers have found the humble cauliflower also have some very special health benefits?

  • Cauliflower is what is known as a cruciferous vegetable from the Brassica family. It is a close cousin to broccoli, cabbage, Bok Choy and Brussels sprouts.
  • Eating cauliflower and other cruciferous vegetables is known to reduce injurious falls and fractures.
  • It is also associated with lower vascular calcification and can improve vascular and musculoskeletal health.
  • Dr. Marc Sim and his teams research shows eating cauliflower rice is one way to incorporate cruciferous vegetables into your diet and is a lower carbohydrate alternative to eating rice.
